Dylan Thomas Padgett, a 32-year-old resident of Brownsburg, Indian, and a Security Engineer at Indiana Office of Technology passed away on Saturday October 19, 2024, at his home. He was announced dead in a social media post that read “I’m heartbroken and struggling to come to terms with the loss. You were an amazing friend and one of the best.”

The firstborn of Thomas “Byron” Padgett and Jody (Coleman) Padgett, Dylan Thomas Padgett was born in Frankfort, Indian, on February 6, 1992. Dylan graduated from Clinton Central High School in 2010. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a concentration in Business Administration from Manchester University.
He was an accomplished athlete, as evidenced by his baseball career in high school and college. The football team secured the Sectional and Regional Championships during Dylan’s senior year of high school. Reaching the Division III collegiate World Series was a standout moment of his collegiate career. During his time at Manchester University, he formed numerous relationships and friendships that were deeply meaningful to him.
Dylan was presently employed as a Security Analyst in the Indiana Office of Technology by the State of Indiana. His employment there commenced in 2015 as an intern. He valued the intimate relationships he had with his colleagues at the I.O.T. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, shooting firearms, and playing video games.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 am to 1 pm Saturday October 26, 2024, at Stout & Son Funeral Home – Russiaville Chapel, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, IN 46979. Graveside service will begin at 2 pm on Saturday at St. Paul Cemetery near Forest, IN, with Pastor Karl Kercheval officiating.
