Becky Geiger Omaha NE Death: — Two people died following a shooting incident that happened at a residence in Sarpy County, Nebraska. The victims were identified as 45-year-old Rebecca Geiger and 44-year-old Rory Geiger.
According to reports, Rory Geiger passed away from gunshot injuries after killing his wife Westside High School Rebecca ‘Becky’ Geiger. Both from Omaha Nebraska. It is not clear if the Rory died by suicide or was killed by the deputy who returned fire, Davis said.
What happened to Becky Geiger?
Rebecca Geiger, a teacher at Westside High School, and Rory Geiger, her husband, were both killed in a terrible act of domestic violence in Sarpy County, Nebraska. Early on Monday, someone called 911 and said that Rory had shot Rebecca and was still armed.
The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office answered. Deputies were told that there had been mental health problems at the home in the past. When police arrived, shots were fired at them, which caused one cop to return fire before entering the home. Even though people tried to save Rory’s life, he was found dead.
Westside Community Schools remembered Rebecca for how kind she was and how hard she worked to help kids. Five officers are on administrative leave because of what happened, and as is usual in these situations, a grand jury will look into it.
