Russel Reno Durant OK Death:- A 41-year-old man has died following a deadly motorcycle accident that happened just north of the city Monday afternoon, the 28th of October 2024.
The victim has been identified as Russel Reno. According to reports, Russel Reno, a longtime resident of Durant Oklahoma passed away from injuries sustained in the motor bike crash. Thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Russel Reno’s cause of death
According to troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 41-year-old Russel Reno was driving his motorcycle along State Highway 48, approximately 1,000 feet north of Durant city limits, when a mechanical failure caused the rear wheel of his motorcycle to lock up unexpectedly.
This sudden issue led Reno to lose control, sending his motorcycle off the road, where he was ejected from the vehicle upon impact. Emergency responders transported Reno to Alliance Health Center in Durant, where he received immediate medical attention.
Tragically, despite their efforts, Reno was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation to determine any additional contributing factors, including the cause of the wheel malfunction.
