Former REDCON1 International Sales Manager Matt Meinrod of Lake Worth, Florida has sadly passed away. He died leaving family and friends in shock and disbelief. He was confirmed dead through a post that reads “It’s with utter shock & devastation that I share the passing of my husband, Matt Meinrod, on 10/26/24.”

After attending Florida State University from 2001 to 2005, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management, Matt laid a solid foundation for his career in the fitness industry. Following his graduation, Matt began his career as a Personal Trainer at Gold’s Gym in Tallahassee, Florida.
From September 2006 to November 2008, he honed his skills, helping clients achieve their fitness goals while developing a deep understanding of personal training dynamics and client relationships. This hands-on experience was pivotal, allowing him to blend theoretical knowledge with practical application.

In late 2008, Matt transitioned into a new role as a Regional Business Development Manager at Onyx Creative Group. Over the course of a year and two months, he leveraged his background in fitness and management to contribute to the growth and strategic initiatives of the company. This experience marked his first significant foray into the business side of the fitness industry, expanding his skill set beyond personal training.
From May 2010 to December 2011, Matt returned to a more specialized role as a Performance Specialist at Champions Training Academy. In this capacity, he focused on enhancing athletic performance, applying his expertise to train athletes and improve their competitive edge. His time here solidified his reputation as a knowledgeable professional in the realm of sports performance.
Matt’s career took another turn when he became a Staff Writer at RxMuscle in Jacksonville from November 2012 to July 2013. This nine-month role allowed him to express his passion for fitness through writing, providing insights and commentary on various aspects of the fitness industry. His ability to communicate effectively and engage with readers became a hallmark of his professional identity.
After his stint at RxMuscle, Matt served as the Content Director at Blackstone Labs, where he continued to explore the intersection of fitness and media. His expertise in content creation and management helped enhance the brand’s presence in the competitive supplement market.
In March 2014, Matt embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by founding Projectbodybuilding.com. For over three years, he cultivated this platform, focusing on bodybuilding culture, fitness education, and community engagement. His dedication to building an online resource for fitness enthusiasts reflected his commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Most recently, Matt took on the role of VP of Sales at HD Muscle from November 2023 to January 2024. In this position, he applied his extensive experience in both fitness and business to drive sales strategies and expand market reach. His ability to blend his passion for fitness with strategic business acumen positions him as a valuable asset in the industry.
