Amy Armstrong Baltimore MD Death – Amy Armstrong, a beloved daughter and friend has sadly passed away. She died after being shot during a domestic dispute on Monday 28th October 2024. The shooting took pace on Toone Street in the Brewers Hill neighborhood. Officers responded to a report of gunfire around 3:44 a.m., where they discovered 28-year-old Amy Armstrong shot inside the residence.
Despite the efforts of medics, Armstrong was pronounced dead at the scene. As of this report, the city has recorded 165 homicides this year, a notable decrease compared to 222 at the same time last year, indicating ongoing efforts to address violent crime in the area. The investigation quickly led police to 27-year-old Gabriel Gomez-Fiorenza, who was arrested without incident in Baltimore County.
Authorities believe that the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute between Gomez-Fiorenza and Armstrong, highlighting the alarming reality of domestic violence that often escalates to tragic outcomes. He has been charged with first and second degree murder, as well as first and second degree aggravated assault.
