Aspen Ridge Construction employee DJ Monterio of Pembroke, New Pembroke has sadly passed away. He died on Sunday 27th October 2024. He was always to have died from drug abuses, but as at the tine this report was. no source have been able to confirm if its true or not
DJ’s story was one of ambition, hard work, and the drive to succeed. A proud graduate of Pembroke Academy’s class of 2021, DJ’s journey began long before he donned his cap and gown. While many of his peers were focused solely on their studies and the excitement of graduation, DJ took a different path one that intertwined education with real-world experience.
Before graduating high school, DJ joined Aspen Ridge Construction. What started as a job quickly evolved into a passion. For DJ, working at Aspen Ridge was not just about earning a paycheck; it was about understanding the value of hard work and leadership. He immersed himself in the construction trade, learning everything he could and guiding his friends along the way.

In addition to his parents, DJ is survived by his siblings, Taylor Monterio, and Mason Monterio; his paternal grandmother, Paulette Tanguay of Bow; his paternal grandfather Bruce Monterio and his partner Karen Howard of Dennis, MA; 2 aunts, Kristin Harmon of Manasquan, NJ, and Julie Boucher and her husband Craig of Concord; his Uncle Todd Monterio and his wife Jennifer of Chichester; 5 cousins, Jack Harmon, Nolan and Nora Boucher and Preston and Trevor Monterio; his ‘brother’ and best friend, Dylan, and countless other friends and family. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Richard Tanguay, and paternal grandmother Marcia Monterio.
Memorial Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, October 31st, from 4 to 7 PM at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord. Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 1st from 2-5 PM at Pembroke Pines, 45A Whittemore Rd, Pembroke, NH.
