Heather Kramer Eastman WI Death – On Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, at approximately 11:36 p.m., a devastating head-on collision occurred on Wisconsin State Highway 35, just north of Lynxville in the Township of Seneca. Sheriff Dale McCullick of the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the incident, which involved a sport utility vehicle (SUV) and a semi tractor trailer.
The investigation revealed that 16-year-old Benjamin Kramer of Eastman was driving southbound on STH 35 when he crossed the centerline, resulting in a collision with a northbound semi truck driven by Jaswant Mahi, 44, from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Tragically, Benjamin’s mother, Heather Kramer, 45, and his younger brother, Simon Kramer, 13, were also in the vehicle. Benjamin and Simon were pronounced dead at the scene, while Heather was transported to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Jaswant Mahi, the semi driver, was fortunate to escape the incident without injuries. The sheriff’s office has stated that this crash remains under investigation, as authorities work to understand the circumstances leading up to the collision.
Emergency response teams from the Seneca Fire Department, Seneca First Responders, Ocooch Mountain Rescue, Gundersen Ambulance, Crawford County Highway Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Milo’s Towing Service were on the scene to provide assistance.
