One of the two individuals shot dead late Sunday following a party at a South Natomas apartment complex has been identified as a Lincoln youngster. As police continue to look for suspects in the shooting that also killed a man and badly injured a 17-year-old girl, the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the kid as Jason Sandoval, 17. The teen was rushed to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, but authorities said his condition was stable.
In the 2000 block of West El Camino Avenue and Azevedo Drive, the two deceased victims were shot outside an apartment. The identity of the older victim, whose age the authorities did not reveal, is unknown. In a previous update, Sacramento Police stated that no arrests had been made. A sizable gathering was held before to the shooting, according to police in the hours following the late Sunday incident.
According to police spokesman Officer Anthony Gamble, who urged any witnesses to come forward with information, authorities are investigating the party’s involvement with the shooting and speaking with any witnesses.
