Jason Askri New London Death, Connecticut College pre-veterinary student has died

Jason Askri, a resident of New London, Connecticut, and a pre-veterinary student majoring in both English and Biology with a concentration in Ecology at the Connecticut College has sadly passed away. The circumstances surrounding Jason Askri cause of death have not been made public by the family at the time of this publication. He was loved and cherished by his family, friends and teachers.

Who was Jason Askri?

He was currently a pre-veterinary student, attending Connecticut College, double majoring in English and biology with a concentration in ecology. Utilizing this interdisciplinary background, he aim to pursue a career as a wildlife veterinarian, specializing in conservation efforts to safeguard endangered species. He was an Inclusive NOAA Fisheries Intern at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration in San Diego, California.

He was an Interim Hoofstock Intern at the Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, Connecticut and was also a Sea Cliffs Intern at the New York Aquarium in Brooklyn, New York. He obtained a High School Diploma in Medical Science with a 4.0 GPA at Midwood High School. He was awarded the HENRIETTA O. ROGERS ’28 ACADEMY OF AMERICAN POETS PRIZE at the Connecticut College.
