Jeroderick Bell, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama and an alumnus of Jefferson Davis High School passed away in a tragic incident that took the life of Devin Ligon on Friday morning. Jroc Bell was announced dead in a social media publication that read “Jeroderick was literally the coolest & silliest person you could ever meet. From childhood to adulthood if you didn’t know him you knew his smile would light up the room.”

According to authorities, two men from Montgomery were shot and died in the city early on Friday morning. Around 1:57 a.m. on Friday, Montgomery police and fire medics were sent to the 500 block of North Eastern Boulevard in response to a report of gunshot wounds, according to Maj. Saba Coleman. According to Coleman, the victims, Jeroderick Bell, 29, and Devin Ligon, 30, both of whom lived in Montgomery, were shot and killed with potentially fatal injuries.
After being transported to a nearby hospital, the guys were declared deceased. According to police, the shooting seems to have been a one-off event among acquaintances. There was no other information provided.
