Lee Stetson Rhode Island Death:- Exeter-West Greenwich High School teacher Lee Stetson has died. He was one of a kind, and he had a heart of gold. Lee Stetson was announced dead today by West Greenwich Police Department. No cause of death was reported at the time of his passing.
West Greenwich Police Department released the following statement:
“The men and women of the West Greenwich Police Department mourn the sudden loss of Exeter-West Greenwich High School teacher, Lee Stetson. Our thoughts, prayers, and support go out to his family, friends and the entire Exeter-West Greenwich school community.”
About Lee Stetson
He was a RA and assistant basketball coach at Exeter Job Corps, but his influence went beyond that. Lee was unique, showing compassion and dedication with a golden heart that captivated everyone he met. He was constantly available to mentor and advise his students.
His coaching emphasized basketball fundamentals and life lessons like teamwork, tenacity, and resilience. His players admired him for his basketball talents and genuine concern for their personal growth. Lee arranged several extracurricular events to help students find their passions, make friends, and form communities.
Lee was a community leader who promoted numerous causes and inspired others to get engaged. His lifelong commitment to assisting others shaped the Exeter Job Corps and everyone he met. Lee left a legacy of kindness, inspiration, and unwavering faith in youth.
