Barstool Sports personality Bill Cotter Aka Billy Football father has sadly passed away. He died on Friday 25th October 2024 surrounded by his beloved family. He was announced dead on Monday through a post made by Billy on social media that reads “Lost my father suddenly on Friday morning. We had planned to go out and watch the Yankees that night. Don’t take time with people for granted. You never know when it will be the last.”
Bill Cotter is a New Yorker who comes from the fifth generation. From the time he was a small child, Bill Cotter, who was born in New York City, had a continuous interest in politics. Bill developed an interest in policy concerns, both domestically and internationally, as a result of his time spent growing up in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.
While attending The Hackley School in Tarrytown, Bill was a member of the mock trial squad, led the football team, and played lacrosse.
He also participated in the mock trial. During his senior year of football performance, he was recognized as an All-County and All-New York State player. During the summer before he started college, Bill was able to secure an internship with Barstool Sports, which was one of the criteria for his final year of high school graduation. It is in this location that William Cotter became known as “Billy Football.”
Following his graduation from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, where he played football in the autumn of 2017, he went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political-Economics. During the COVID-19 outbreak, Bill started working as a content developer for Barstool Sports for the company.
Bill is also employed by Alpha-En, a startup company that specializes in lithium batteries. The company is working to improve the domestic supply chains of lithium in the United States after observing how vulnerable all supply systems in the United States are to the epidemic.
